When we reference the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith we are simply saying that we are a confessional people.  We hold to a guideline that points us to to a more refined system of theology.

The Bible is our final and highest authority and if we were to find something in the confession that goes against Scripture we would, of course, hold Scripture to the highest authority.  We do not hold the 1689 LBCF on the same level as Scripture; we simply believe that the things in Scripture are clearly explained in the confession in an easily communicable manner.

For your convenience I have included the 1689 LBCF from Forward to Finish.  If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to use the Contact page to let me know!
